We’ve been setting up this project for the past few months, and we wanted to share it with you all first!

THE CATALYST
One Big Question

From the very first time we opened the doors of the Soccer Bus in Asheville, to our final stop of the year in Austin, we kept hearing one question across the country:

“How can I support your journey?”

Since 2018, we’ve done our best to uncover and document the hidden stories of the beautiful game all over the United States. Always independent, always grassroots, and always with the intention of doing whatever we can to bring these stories to life with deep care and respect. 

(Hopefully, it’s something we’ve also lived up to through this channel every Tuesday for the past 101 weeks 🙏).

THINKING
Some Reflection

That ethos is what drove us to pour all our savings into an old school bus, turn it into a mobile American soccer museum, and travel over 12,000 miles across the country to share it with as many communities and teams at every level of the US soccer pyramid as possible.

Getting to complete over 20+ stops with the bus—from Texas all the way up to Vermont—meeting incredible people along the way, and learning a new way to connect and share stories from our wonderfully eclectic soccer country, was one of the most grueling yet rewarding endeavors we’ve ever undertaken.

By the end of the season, sleeping in bedbug-infested motels off the highway felt more than worth it, because we knew the stories we were chasing deserved to be told, even if it wasn’t always easy.
