Our World Cup Dream Might Be Over

Things are not looking good for the Soccer Bus. We broke down in LA after the opener, and our cross-country road trip for the summer is in jeopardy.

Our World Cup Dream Might Be Over

CLUBELEVEN

For 18 months, we’d worked up to this moment. A chance to take our mobile American soccer museum from LA to NYC during the World Cup and share it with local and international fans all over the country this summer.

We hoped it would be a good way to show the rich history of the beautiful game in the US and celebrate all the incredible soccer communities we’d had the chance to visit and hear from during our 13,000 miles on the road so far.

Unfortunately, after an amazing opening weekend in LA with the American Outlaws, we broke down on the side of the highway in Ontario, California.

Long story short, the engine on the bus is fried, and we need a replacement.

With the World Cup now in full swing, we have to find a solution fast or say goodbye to the bus. If we have to, we’re ready to find ways to keep telling the stories we usually do. But we’re doing everything in our power to keep doing so with the bus.

If you know anyone who could help us get the bus back on the road for the World Cup, please send us a note via email or Instagram DM (@clubeleven).

As always, thank you for your support, and we’ll see you on the road one way or another.
